| COMMENTS | Shands East Side Physicians Clinic only
On 11-03-09, at approximately 1434 hrs., Officer Lumpkins and I responded to Eastside Physicians Clinic in reference to a panic alarm that was activated and received through UFPD Communications. Officer Lumpkins made contact with a patient inside the waiting room, Tequila McKnight. She stated that she was involved in a verbal dispute with two females that had just left the building.
I made contact with the two females in the parking lot, Tamika Webb and Onteria Lawrence. Both stated that they were at the clinic waiting on a family member. Webb and Lawrence had 4 small children with them. They stated that McKnight told them that they did not know how to discipline their children and that is why the children were misbehaving. Both Webb and Lawrence stated that McKnight's comments were insulting and an argument ensued.
Webb and Lawrence stated that they would not return to the clinic. I advised them that they could return if they had a scheduled appointment or for emergency medical services. I made contact with Lawrence's mother, who had a scheduled appointment at the clinic. She advised that in the future she would drive herself to the clinic to prevent any further altercations. She stated that today she had to take medication and she needed them to give her a ride. I advised her that if she needed a ride she could be dropped off and picked up at the sidewalk.
A trespass warning for Webb and Lawrence was completed for the Eastside Shands Physicians Clinic. Webb and Lawrence stated that they understood the trespass warning. |
